The vision of the Grama Panchayat is the broader dream of what the area should become in the future.

Purpose: To achieve the long-term goal of becoming a model village with comprehensive and sustainable development, ensuring a better quality of life for all citizens.
  • Complete sanitation and a healthy living environment.
  • An eco-friendly village that preserves greenery and ensures water security.
  • A poverty-free society ensuring education, healthcare and employment opportunities for everyone.
  • Ensure that services under the Citizen Charter are delivered to the public within the time limit prescribed by the Panchayat.
  • Ensure that various welfare pensions are provided to all eligible beneficiaries.
  • Ensure 100% customer (including the general public) satisfaction.

The mission explains what the Panchayat is doing at present and how it functions to achieve its vision.

Purpose: To define the key objectives and methods of action required to transform the vision into reality.
  • Participatory Planning: Understand the needs of the people through Ward Sabhas and Gram Sabhas and prepare development plans accordingly.
  • Efficient Services: Provide Panchayat services to the public quickly through online systems and transparent governance.
  • Infrastructure Development: Improve the quality of roads, drinking water, electricity, public educational institutions and health centres.
  • Sustainable Livelihoods: Promote agriculture and small-scale industries to ensure local economic growth.
