Villiappally Grama Panchayat is a Grama Panchayat located in Villiappally Revenue Village, within Thodannur Block Panchayat and Vadakara Taluk of Kozhikode District, Kerala. The total area of the Panchayat is 17.35 sq. km.

Boundaries

• North: Chorode and Eramala Grama Panchayats
• South: Vadakara Municipality and Maniyur Grama Panchayat
• East: Ayanchery and Thiruvallur Grama Panchayats
• West: Vadakara Municipality

History of the Panchayat

Following the reorganisation of local administrative areas, the Villiappally Revenue Village area was constituted as Villiappally Panchayat. The first Panchayat Administrative Committee assumed office on 1 January 1964. The first President of the Panchayat Administrative Committee was P. Balakrishnan Nambiar.

In 1995, Villiappally Grama Panchayat was constituted as part of the three-tier Panchayati Raj system following the constitutional amendment. The persons who have served as Presidents of Villiappally Grama Panchayat include:
