Achievements
Kerala’s Panchayats have numerous achievements to their credit, particularly for their significant role in decentralized planning and local governance. The major achievements are as follows:
- Under the Mahatma Gandhi National Rural Employment Guarantee Scheme (MGNREGS), more than 100 families were provided with individual assets such as well construction, wastewater pits, compost pits, Azolla tanks, cattle sheds, poultry sheds, and goat sheds.
- The Haritha Karma Sena achieved 100% user fee collection.
